Privacy Policy — PDF Pass
Last updated: 20 August 2026
PDF Pass unlocks PDFs on your device and shows ads after you save or share. This is the privacy policy for the app.
On-device files
PDFs you open are processed on this device. They are not sent to our servers. Temporary copies may be written to local app storage so you can preview, save, or share the unlocked file. Those copies stay on the device unless you save or share them yourself.
Passwords
A password you type is used only on this device to unlock the PDF you selected. It is not stored after unlocking, and it is not transmitted.
Advertising
PDF Pass shows full-screen ads from Google AdMob after you save or share an unlocked PDF. The ads SDK may use device identifiers, IP address, and similar technical data to serve and measure ads. Your PDFs and passwords are not used for advertising.
For more about how Google uses data in advertising products, see Google’s policies for AdMob and related services.
Accounts and analytics
There are no accounts and no first-party analytics or crash reporters in this app. Advertising is provided by Google AdMob as described above.
Local settings
Your acceptance of the Disclaimer & Terms is saved on this device so we do not ask again until those terms change.
System sharing
If you share a PDF into PDF Pass, or save or share an unlocked file, the operating system handles that transfer. We do not receive a copy.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects how the app handles your files or advertising, the updated text will appear in the app.
